Zac Gardner joined the Pepperell Baptist Church family in September of 2022 to begin serving as the Senior Pastor. In June 2017, Zac married his best friend, Anna, and in July 2020, the Lord blessed them with a son, Shepherd. Zac is a family man who prioritizes leading and discipling his family to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, Zac is passionate about seeing the church develop a ministry that equips parents with tools to disciple their children for the glory of God. Additionally, Zac is passionate about seeing the church mobilized strategically to make the name of Christ known in every home, neighborhood, and nation.

Zac previously served as an associate pastor in Northeast Alabama, where he developed and guided ministries ranging from small groups and discipleship education to junior high, high school, and college ministries. He received his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in secondary education from Athens State University in 2017. He will graduate in December this year with his Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Zac's preaching style reflects his doctrine of Scripture as fully inspired, sufficient, and authoritative over the church's life. Therefore, Zac preaches verse-by-verse through whole books of the Bible to make known the thoughts and plans of God as communicated through His Word. It is his calling and the primary passion of his ministry to see the people of God understand the Bible with clarity so that they can help others to see our great God with life-changing clarity.

Pepperell Baptist Church is a loving, praying, and giving church. We love to worship God in spirit and in truth and we love to sing His praises. We would like for you to come and get to know us. We enjoy traditional preaching from the pulpit and a mix of traditional and praise music from our worship ensemble and choir. You are invited to come join us in worship and fellowship.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24 (NKJV)
